Restaurant and café

The museum's summer cafe in the pleasant location on the Museum Island can satisfy a light appetite. The cafe is located near the outdoor activities on 'Tunet' and it is possible to enjoy refreshments inside and outside. The range of refreshments includes hot and cold sandwiches, soft drinks, coffee, tea, cake and ice cream.

1 May - 24 June and 1 september - 30 September 10:00 - 16:00
High season 25 June - 31 August 10:00 - 17:00


Restaurant Snekken
Is located by the Museum Island with a view over Roskilde Fjord and the leisure craft harbour.

Snekken offers lunch, dinner as well as coffee & cake. Snekken has room for and caters to functions, conferences and events.
There are function rooms with room for up to 70 guests, so that larger groups can finish off their day at the Viking Ship Museum in the beautiful surroundings at Roskidle harbour with well-prepared food.
