School visits

Each year, the Viking Ship Museum is visited by some 20,000 pupils from primary and secondary schools and students from various educational institutions.

Our school service offers many exciting educational activities focusing on the Viking Age, the Vikings, and their ships and expeditions. There are both outdoor and indoor activities, and all pupils are actively involved.

Educational activities are available on all school days, both summer and winter. In addition, our school service can help develop special courses or meet particular teaching requirements, and groups of pupils or students can also get assistance in connection with relevant projects.
