Due to the many steps, there is, unfortunately, limited access to the Viking Ship Hall for wheelchair users. There is therefore no admission fee to the Museum for guests in wheelchairs.

Entrance fees vary according to time of year and level of activity. you will experience most activities during high-season (May - september). On weekdays you can visit the working boatyard - year round!
Until May 1, most activities are located inside the Viking Ship Hall. Here you can also see the introduction film and the Special Exhibition 'In the Wake of the Vikings'.
During the winter holiday (week 7 and 8) and at Easter we organize special holiday activities and tours for children and adults in Danish and English.
From May 1 to October 9 activities are offered at the Museum Island, where you can meet the craftsmen who take turns manning the workshops. Several tours for children and adults in Danish and English every day. The boatyard is open week round and you can go sailing daily until 30 September.
During autumn break (week 42) you can join 'King and Queen for a Day', with plenty of activities.
The year ends with the Christmas weekends in December and guided Christmas tours between Christmas and New Year.
