Holstebro Museum

The exhibition of local archaeological finds at Holstebro Museum will give you an impression of the Viking Age in West Jutland. 15km east of Holstebro, archaeologists have excavated Trabjerg, a Viking Age village, while at Nørre Felding church, 8km south of Holstebro, an extensive built-up area has been found. The objects from both excavations, and several others, provide an excellent impression of how life was lived in this area more than 1,000 years ago.
