Skjoldungen lies between the giant oil tanks and the crew keeps a close eye on the weather forecast.

The landscape of coastal Southwest Greenland is characterized by bare, rugged cliffs - without a house in sight. So to moor at Polaroil large oil plant with oil tanks and - silos, almost like landing in the middle of bustling civilization - that is, after West Greenland conditions.

The residents have been very welcoming to the crew and Skjoldungen, however, the ship had to be moved to make way for "Giant tanker" as Ole Sand expressed it over an ordinary phone line today.
From 'Polaroil' there is mobile coverage, so the satellite phone can take a break, much to the delight of both the reporting crew and us here at the other end, since it is not easy to talk with the long delay, there is an inescapable conditions when the daily 'We-are-good-and-her' conversation be implemented via satellite.

The crew spent the day to get some rest and to listen to weather forecasts. They are indeed just 50 km from the target Nuuk and the wind seems to be with them. The weather forecast promises two periods with winds from a southerly direction in the coming days: Perhaps already this night and a couple of the days ahead. If the weather continues to promise good wind this evening - then sail perhaps out on night sailing with midnight sun!
