One crew member has developed a reddish rash around a tick bite. The tick was removed about 5 days ago. Radio Medical was contacted and a treatment with penicillin started.

One crew member cut a foot on a sharp rock. The wound was cleaned, a bit of loose skin removed, and the wound was bandaged.

Several people have colds and sore throats.

One crew member tripped in the dark on a slippery rock and hurt his head. A couple of superficial bruises and a single deeper one, given steristrips. Was already vaccinated for tetanus. Under observation through the night for concussion. Feels well again the next day, but an accumulation of blood around one eye bears witness to the collision with the rocks.
