The Viking Ship Museum offers sailing trips, guided tours and hands-on activities for business groups.
Are you looking for fresh air and new experiences to enjoy together? At the Viking Ship Museum, you'll get to know one another in a completely different way as your teamwork is put to the test outside the usual workplace setting.
On sailing trips in our beautiful Nordic boats, every participant has an important role to play. Everyone takes part in rowing, helps set the course and works together to hoist the sail. All sailing trips are led by the Viking Ship Museum’s professional instructors, but it is up to you as a crew to make the voyage a success. Sailing trips are available during the summer season, from 1 May to 30 September.
Discover how innovation, collaboration and delegation of responsibilities were essential in the Viking Age, both at sea and on land. Our guided tours include the five original Viking ships and the working boatyard, where boatbuilders reconstruct Viking Age vessels using replicas of contemporary tools.
Café Knarr can provide food and refreshments inspired by the Viking Age.
Sailing trips for groups
Get away from the office and sail out on the fjord for a unique experience with colleagues.
On the Viking Ship Museum's sailing trips, the participants are the ship's crew. The sailing trips is in the summerseason, from 1 may to 30 September.
Guided tours
The Viking Ship Museum offers guided tours in Danish, English and German. Our guides provide an insight into the importance of Viking ships.
If you want a special tour, it is possible to book specialised tours with a museum curator or boat builder on a selected topic.
