Not much wind...

... but a lot of pulling at the oars

Tuesday turned out to be yet another day where the crew got to work hard pulling the oars. There certainly isn't much wind in Greenland these days. Of yesterday's 8 hours of cruising only ½ hour was for sail. Late evening they docked in a small natural habor, set up their tents and had a good nights sleep. This morning they woke up to sunny skies and still no wind.

Skjoldungen will have to pass Nyboe channel today. It is a small, narrow passage blown through the rocks, to connect two inlets with each other, so small boats such as Skjoldungen saves a long detour. The channel can be crossed only at high tide (2.5 m).
