The Sea Stallion left Caol Charna around one o’clock. The ship was rowed through the narrow Sound. The mast was laid down to diminish the wind resistance. After an hour of rowing the anchor was dropped, the mast was raised, and the crew had lunch. After lunch the ship will go under sail through the Sound Of Mull, past the islands Luing and Scarba and in between Jura and the mainland with expected arrival in Crinan this evening. The distance is approximately 40 nautical miles. Everything is well on board.
