Thunder, lightning and shrimp

Published: 07/07-2019

After 23h on the water, we arrived last night to Gottskär's harbor in Kungsbacka Fjord.

We sailed from Rørvig into the evening sun. Unfortunately the wind disappeared a little and was still very northwestern and we could not get to Anholt.

During the night it blew up from the west and we had to reef the sail. At 8 in the morning we passed Anholt's eastern tip.
The wind turned, as predicted, a little more in the southwest and fell slightly in strength again so that we could sail with full sail.

On the trip to Læsø it blew up to gale from the west. And we had to reef again.
Unfortunately, the sail at the sail neck burst under reefing of the sail.
Second rope was taken and we could go on. With the breeze in the back, it was quick to get sheltered by the Swedish east coast, where we moored at 20.30 in thunder, lightning and rain.

Shrimp sandvichs and a large beer were enjoyed in the Havnekroen before a good night's sleep ...
