The topic 'Women in the Viking Age' is a great desire for many to gain more knowledge about.
We put the spot the 'other half' during a historical period, where the focus is usually on men and their roles in society.

Women in the Viking Age

Written sources present the Viking Age women as independent and with certain rights, suggesting that women in Scandinavia at the time had more freedom than women elsewhere. Most women worked as housewives, while some were engaged in textile production.
