New speed record - and then ice cream

Hard work paid off (Photo: Screen dump from video).

After having taken the record in longship rowing (internal competition) the Sea Stallion went to Karrebæksminde for ice cream.

With no wind at all and a hot sun pounding from above the crew decided to shed some sweat while rowing the best they have learned. And it paid off. Today at 12 o'clock the Sea Stallion broke the speed record for longship rowing! 4,7 knots over the ground for two minutes.

NB: This is a record in a friendly competition amongst the Sea Stallion's boatguild and not an official record.

After the succesful record was a reality the Sea Stallion headed for Karrebæksminde to celebrate with cold ice cream. Well deserved.
