Friends of the Viking Ship Museum
The association, the Friends of the Viking Ship Museum, was established on 26 November 1990 by a group of people with a profound interest in history. The objective of the association is to support the work of the museum and to promote its development.
Members of the association receive
- Free admission to lectures and other activities arranged by the association
- Free admission for two people to the museum
- The opportunity to purchase Viking Ship Museum publications and other items from the museum shop at favourable prices.
Annual membership fees are currently DKK 310.
The association is represented on the museum board of directors, but is otherwise an independent organisation.
