Enter the boat yard where the boatbuilders are busy building a Viking ship.

The boatbuilders are working on reconstructing a Viking ship and everyday you can meet a craftsman who explains and shows the special techniques used by the Vikings when building their impressive ships. Admission to the yard is included in the entrance fee to the Viking Ship Museum.

When can you meet the craftsman?

June 8 - 26:
Monday-Friday 13.00 - 17.00
Weekends: 10 am - 5 pm

June 27 - August 9:
Every day 10am - 5pm
