Friends of the Museum

The association, the Friends of the Viking Ship Museum, was established on 26 November 1990 by a group of people with a profound interest in history. 
The objective of the association is to support the work of the museum and to promote its development.

Members of the association receive

• Free admission to lectures and other activities arranged by the association
• Free admission for two people to the museum
• The opportunity to purchase Viking Ship Museum publications and other items from the museum shop at favourable prices.

Annual membership fees are currently DKK 350.
