The Tuna Badelunda Boat
The original boat from the mid-9th century was excavated in Sweden.
Boats from the Viking Age were therefore more than just the famous clinker-built longships.
The boat is believed to have been built from pine wood and has been raised with an additional sewn-on plank on each side.
The ribs are made from juniper branches.
