During the voyage, one of the museum’s sailing instructors will share stories about the boats and their maritime heritage. Everyone takes part in setting the traditional square sail and rowing the boat as we head out onto Roskilde Fjord.
There is room for up to 20 guests on board, and every sailing trip is led by an experienced sailing instructor assisted by a crew member.
Practical Information
Tickets:Check availability and purchase tickets online. We recommend booking in advance, as many departures sell out.
Children on board: A limited number of seats are available for children aged 4 to approximately 14 and for others who are unable to row. Unfortunately, children under the age of 4 cannot participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Weather conditions: Sailings may be cancelled if there are too few participants or if weather conditions pose a safety risk. Please wear practical outdoor clothing.
Equipment: Life jackets and an introduction to the boat, rowing and sailing are included.
Groups: Private sailing trips for groups can be booked separately.
