First mate takes over command for a few days

Skipper Carsten Hvid has travelled to Denmark for a few days because of illness in his family. The crew arrangements on board the Sea Stallion take situations like this into account and first mate Vibeke Bischoff has taken over command.

The ship is currently in Ramsgate harbour and the intention is that Vibeke Bischoff will be the skipper on the trip to Lowestoft in Norfolk. The departure is planned for midday tomorrow, Thursday 17 July. As planned, some of the crew will be replaced by a fresh complement on Sunday 20 July in Lowestoft.

It is expected that Carsten Hvid will rejoin the ship in Lowestoft on the same day and take over command again. The plan is that the ship will make a three-day, non-stop voyage from Lowestoft to Denmark.
